Cookie policy

This site sets one item of local storage by default, and nothing else until you allow it.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage works the same way for our purposes. We use as few as we can get away with.

One item, and only after you have answered the banner. It records which categories you allowed, so that we stop asking on every page.

What we would set with your permission

We do not currently run analytics or advertising tools. If we add them, they will be listed here first and will only load for visitors who allow that category. Until you agree, the tags stay switched off in the page rather than merely unused.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time. It takes effect immediately and we do not ask you to justify it.

How long your choice lasts

Your answer is kept for 180 days, then we ask again. If you clear your browser storage, or open the site in a private window, the banner returns because there is nothing left to tell us what you decided.

Blocking cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data from its settings. Blocking everything will stop this site remembering your cookie choice, so the banner will reappear on each visit, but nothing else will break.
